Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervises employees across production/operation functions (assembly, inspection, test, and final test) related to manufacturing capital equipment and components/subassemblies/subsystems.
  • •Prioritizes production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and materials requirements.
  • •Supports operations performance metrics, milestone meetings, and cycle time and other metric improvement.
  • •Ensures safety: prevention of employee accidents/injuries and monitoring compliance to safety policies and procedures; ensures required training for all department employees.
  • •Manages performance management, employee development plans, employee selection/hiring, reward and discipline processes; drives Lean, safety, and quality, including corrective action when needed.
