Key Responsibilities

  • •Scrutinize, check, and manage timely processing of cheques, remittances, standing orders, salaries, collections, and voucher postings.
  • •Ensure policies, rules, and regulations are followed before authorizing or releasing payments.
  • •Adhere to compliance/AML regulatory requirements while checking and crediting transactions.
  • •Provide day-to-day consultation to branches and internal teams on in/out remittances, Vostro/Nostro operations, cheque clearing/collection, standing orders, and salaries processing.
  • •Ensure checking of daily reports and EJ/online reports with due diligence, covering key transaction data, and record/report exceptions in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate with thorough and in-depth knowledge of remittances, cheques, and operations.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of general banking activities, including local and international practices.
  • •Conversant with operating systems and financial systems including SWIFT, QATCH, and Flexube.
  • •Full awareness of compliance/AML/regulatory requirements.
  • •5 years of bank operations experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years at officer level.
