Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape Canva’s Korean voice across Product, Marketing, Content, and other user-facing experiences.
  • •Translate, review, transcreate, and adapt key Korean content when needed.
  • •Own and evolve Korean linguistic assets such as style guides, glossaries, and terminology.
  • •Regularly audit the Korean experience and identify improvement opportunities using user insights and quality data.
  • •Review vendor translations, work with localization partners, and support localization QA for new features and launches, including evaluating AI-assisted workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Native Korean language proficiency with excellent Korean writing skills.
  • •Professional-level English communication skills.
  • •Experience in localisation/language management, UX writing, content design, translation, transcreation, or a related field.
  • •Experience maintaining linguistic quality across multiple content types and surfaces.
  • •Knowledge of style guides, glossaries, terminology management, and localisation QA (LQA/MQM familiarity is a plus).
