Security Operations Center (SOC) Functional Lead (Individual Contributor)

Provide functional leadership for Applied Materials’ Security Operations Center by guiding SOC operations, technical direction, and operational oversight. Own high-severity incident response, strengthen threat detection, and drive continuous improvement across cybersecurity operations. Lead analysts, enhance playbooks and detection content, and improve SOC processes and tooling. Partner with IT, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders, while tracking operational metrics to support governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
