Job Summary

Build and maintain internal services, APIs, and infrastructure tooling that power Box’s Configuration as a Service platform. Develop automation to manage container and VM images, software packages, metadata, and SBOMs, and improve CI/CD and deployment workflows. Work with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that support Box’s AI and cloud infrastructure, including production troubleshooting and on-call support.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain internal services, APIs, and infrastructure tooling.
•Develop automation to manage container images, virtual machine images, software packages, metadata, and SBOM.
•Build internal frameworks to improve developer productivity and automate infrastructure operations.
•Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows, including scalable support for AI and cloud infrastructure.
•Troubleshoot production systems, collaborate across security/compliance/infrastructure teams, and participate in on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
•Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Ruby (either language is sufficient).
•Experience building internal tooling, backend services, or infrastructure automation.
•Experience working with Linux systems.
•Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with experience in CI/CD pipelines and automation.
