Job Summary

Serve as the technical link between sales, customers, and product centers for Alfa Laval’s heat exchanger solutions in the Food & Pharma sector. You configure and design heat exchangers to meet complex customer requirements, support sales calls and product presentations, diagnose and resolve technical issues and complaints, and lead technical aspects of customer projects and product introductions. You also train sales partners and customers on the differentiation of your heat exchanger portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the central point of contact for technical solutions in customer projects
•Design and configure heat exchangers to meet complex customer requirements
•Provide technical input to sales teams for customer meetings and product presentations
•Analyze and resolve technical problems and handle technical complaints
•Drive the technical aspects of customer projects and product launches, and train sales partners and customers

Key Requirements

•More than 10 years of experience with heat exchangers used in sugar, bioethanol and/or wastewater applications in the Food & Pharma sector
•Completed a technical apprenticeship or degree focused on sugar, bioethanol or wastewater applications
•Strong knowledge of sugar factories in the North European market and of the plants and systems used for heat transfer
•Sound understanding of heat transfer theory and equipment/plant design
•Excellent German and English skills in speech and writing
