Job Summary

Lead the day-to-day operations for a building materials distribution location, owning planning, budgeting, scheduling, delivery execution, inventory accuracy, business metrics, and safety. Oversee cycle counting, damaged inventory processes, and warehouse/yard cleanliness and maintenance. Manage teams and performance plans, coordinate across departments for productivity, maintain service-level requirements, and ensure delivery personnel follow OSHA and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Own day-to-day management, administration, and reporting of planning, budgeting, scheduling, delivery, inventory accuracy, business metrics, and safety.
•Maintain inventory levels, oversee monthly cycle counting and closeout procedures, and manage damaged inventory processes.
•Ensure delivery personnel comply with OSHA and company policies; conduct weekly and monthly safety reviews with the Safety Manager.
•Coordinate daily activities of team members and foster productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.
•Collaborate across departments to improve processes and maintain service-level requirements, including full-cycle delivery management and lien release tracking.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
•Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
•Strong Microsoft Office skills.
•Experience and knowledge of the construction industry and building materials; distribution experience preferred.
