  • •Direct, monitor, and provide technical guidance to an engineering team solving distribution system problems.
  • •Review and oversee investigations, design concepts, alternate solutions, and action plans to improve the distribution power delivery system.
  • •Set clear team expectations aligned to the corporate strategic plan and be accountable for engineer/team performance.
  • •Promote cross-functional teamwork, safety, ethics, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • •Develop engineering team goals and strategies with the Sr. Manager, represent Distribution Engineering on project teams, and coordinate outside engineering firms/contractors for uncommon complex issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
  • •10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the power industry.
  • •Completion of the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) examination.
  • •Professional Engineer license is desired.
  • •Demonstrated communication, leadership, project management, problem-solving/analytical, negotiation, and continuous improvement skills.
