Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact with the FMA for operational matters and manage the supervisory relationship.
  • •Own regulatory reporting obligations and coordinate annual statutory and regulatory audits, ensuring the entity operates within authorization scope.
  • •Provide day-to-day accountability for operational delivery of AIS and PIS services, including monitoring the outsourcing arrangement and managing outsourcing controls.
  • •Own business continuity and incident management, acting as the escalation and decision point for material disruptions.
  • •Oversee segregated operational processes supporting the regulatory perimeter (e.g., customer onboarding, support routing, and data governance) in coordination with Risk & Compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven operational leadership experience within a regulated financial institution (payment institution, e-money institution, bank, or crypto-asset service provider).
  • •Experience with Liechtenstein and/or wider EEA regulation, ideally including prior involvement in a license application and ongoing regulator engagement.
  • •Payments background with understanding of open banking (AIS/PIS), payment operations, and related regulatory obligations.
  • •Familiarity with outsourcing governance and operating a licensed entity that relies on an intra-group or third-party technology provider.
  • •Credibility and suitability for a controlling-function role, including fit-and-proper responsibilities for regulator assessment.
