Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute audit engagements end to end, from planning and scoping through fieldwork, reporting, and closure.
  • •Ensure audit delivery aligns with IIA Standards, regulatory requirements, and Allianz Group policies.
  • •Assess internal controls, risk management, and governance effectiveness; identify root causes and agree on practical improvements with management.
  • •Apply data-driven audit approaches using analytics on full populations rather than samples and translate results into clear conclusions.
  • •Review working papers of junior colleagues, provide coaching, draft audit reports, and present/defend findings to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT, or related fields.
  • •Professional certification (CIA, CISA, ACCA, or equivalent) completed or in progress.
  • •3+ years of experience in internal/external audit, risk management, or a comparable control function.
  • •Experience in financial services/insurance/banking and familiarity with the applicable regulatory environment.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading audit engagements or workstreams independently, including strong analytical and communication skills.
