Location: Bengaluru
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify use-cases where devices fail to perform as intended and understand/mitigate failures for quality, safety, or other reasons.
  • •Design PCB schematics and layouts, select materials/stackups, and implement changes while coordinating with third-party PCB providers.
  • •Develop and implement measurement methods for device performance and troubleshoot issues across related systems/equipment in post-silicon validation.
  • •Build test automation for measurement flows, interface with instruments, process data across PVT corners, and distinguish IC issues from setup issues.
  • •Validate RF transceiver blocks and parameters across TX/RX chains, including calibration and LO/PLL reference clock measurements.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 years of experience working on RF validation/measurement and debugging device failures.
  • •System-level understanding of radio transceiver fundamentals (Transmit/Receive chains, modulation, and metrics like PER/BER/SNR and EVM).
  • •Ability to debug RF transceiver SoC issues and drive root-cause solutions across power/bias, register sequences/values, board-level issues, and process marginalities.
  • •Proficiency with RF/IF/DC measurements (e.g., noise figure, gain, linearity like P1dB/IIP2/IIP3, IQ errors, LO leakage, and DC operating points).
  • •Experience in PCB board development and test automation, including coding/automation of measurement flows and use of tools such as Altium and Cadence Allegro.
