Key Responsibilities

  • •Take day-to-day responsibility for running a unit.
  • •Support clinical duties with the nurse, including observing residents, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
  • •Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, including responsible shift handovers.
  • •Help train and supervise new staff so they feel welcomed and supported.
  • •Assist residents with a range of personal care duties and build relationships with residents, families, and external teams (GPs and District Nurses).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 13.45 - 15.02 hourly

  • •Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care; Bupa can support qualification completion if needed.
  • •Motivated, positive, and able to work well in a close-knit team with strong interpersonal skills.
  • •Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant (or in the role) and knowledge of its rewards and challenges.
  • •Work closely with the nurse to support clinical duties and contribute to accurate record keeping.
