Job Summary

Lead and perform analytics and actuarial analyses for reinsurance decisions, including catastrophe modelling and pricing. Communicate results to clients, train stakeholders on analytics concepts, and guide a junior analytics team to optimize risk, return, and capital strategies within insurance/reinsurance contexts.

Key Responsibilities

•Reinsurance related analysis (actuarial analysis, catastrophe modelling, reinsurance pricing, Retro Rollups, DFA etc.)
•Present analysis reports, interpret catastrophe modelling results and make reinsurance recommendations to internal and external clients
•Assist clients in understanding exposure to insurance risk and determining optimal reinsurance arrangements meeting risk, return and capital requirements
•Provide client training sessions to introduce analytics related materials
•Lead and guide junior analysts to ensure high-quality analyses and deliverables

Key Requirements

•Degree in actuarial science, statistics, data science or related field
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the insurance or re-insurance industry
•Understanding of various reinsurance structures and how to implement them within modelling frameworks
•Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with internal and external partners
•Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
