Job Summary

Lead Infrastructure Engineering to build the internal control platforms, configuration automation, and routing layer that let product engineers operate services safely at scale. Own technical vision, system reliability, and the team’s roadmap, while partnering across Infrastructure, Platform, Production, SRE, and Developer Infrastructure. Manage and grow engineers through coaching and mentorship, and drive a high-performing culture focused on pragmatic delivery and long-term operational simplicity.

•Lead a team building internal control platforms used by engineering teams to operate services safely.
•Drive Infrastructure Engineering platform evolution, including configuration management, traffic routing, and environment controls.
•Own technical direction and contribute to key decisions on API architecture, internal tooling design, and automation frameworks.
•Nurture and grow engineers through coaching, mentorship, and career development.
•Ensure reliability, adoption, and roadmap of the team’s tools while partnering with Production Engineering, SRE, and Developer Infrastructure.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of software engineering experience, focused on internal tooling, infrastructure automation, platform engineering, or distributed systems.
•4+ years of engineering management experience growing and managing engineering teams.
•Experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager leading the architecture and long-term evolution of internal control platforms or similar systems.
•Strong backend or full-stack background with solid Python skills.
•Familiarity with Kubernetes and terraform, plus a systems mindset for abstracting complex infrastructure for others to use.
