Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage engagement with companies on corporate governance and financially material sustainability factors that impact client investment outcomes.
  • •Conduct company-specific research to set engagement objectives, and monitor progress toward engagement milestones while maintaining accurate records.
  • •Analyze shareholder meeting agendas and related materials to ensure proxy votes are submitted timeously and accurately per proxy voting guidelines.
  • •Support the Proxy Committee with research and recommendations on industry trends and help refine proxy voting guidelines.
  • •Provide support for Americas institutional and wealth management businesses, including client meeting support and RFP responses, and contribute to stewardship reporting and external materials.

Key Requirements

  • •At least seven (7) years of experience in a relevant or complementary field, preferably at a global corporation, asset manager, or asset owner.
  • •Bachelor’s degree required.
  • •Prior experience in corporate governance or stewardship, or corporate sustainability.
  • •Ability to integrate governance or sustainability into investment process or corporate operations.
  • •Experience engaging with senior executives and directors; fundamental investment research experience is useful.
