Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead multiple concurrent projects and help shape the frontend technical roadmap for checkout experiences with high autonomy.
  • •Own frontend architecture including component systems, state management, and module boundaries to reduce technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
  • •Set and uphold engineering standards for code quality, patterns, and code review, continually raising the bar.
  • •Own and evolve testing strategy across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers with strong coverage in payment-critical flows.
  • •Build and mature frontend observability and own incidents end-to-end through resolution and postmortems.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years building, testing, and shipping complex, customer-facing web applications, with 2+ years at Staff/Lead scope (or equivalent technical leadership).
  • •Deep, hands-on expertise with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • •Proven ownership of frontend architecture that scales across teams and codebases, including setting engineering standards others adopt.
  • •Advanced frontend testing experience with the ability to drive meaningful coverage in business-critical flows.
