Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, coordinate, and act as a liaison for build projects, including construction and maintenance operations at launch pads
  • •Coordinate projects so vendors meet SpaceX standards and codes and obtain required city/county/government approvals
  • •Develop and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and vendor RFPs; build final cost and schedule controls
  • •Coordinate implementation and track project status, including permit/inspection work; reconcile documentation through closeout
  • •Ensure safe work sites by implementing safety requirements, enforcing safe work habits, and observing OSHA and applicable agency regulations

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, architecture, or construction management
  • •2+ years of professional experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, and/or facilities management
  • •Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and RFP documents; gather proposals and manage vendor contracts
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools; experience using PDF editor software such as Bluebeam
  • •Ability to use facility design software/tools (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Navisworks) and read/interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations
