Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design of electrical connectors, terminals, and busbars for electric vehicle applications.
  • •Derive connector requirements (size, fastening, current rating, protection, mounting) and develop concepts from existing design variants.
  • •Conduct benchmarking and perform mechanical and electrical calculations; interpret simulation outcomes (FEA) to refine designs.
  • •Create concept-evaluation drawings using GD&T controls and apply DFSS/DFMEA tools to deliver robust engineering designs.
  • •Release drawings to suppliers via CO/CR in ENOVIA PLM for prototypes and production, and support NPI execution with design review documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • •3-4 years of experience in electrical/automotive electromechanical system design and development for connectors.
  • •Strong mechanical product design skills with CAD (preferably UGNX).
  • •Basic understanding of electronics and electrical fundamentals for high- or low-voltage connector design.
  • •Ability to apply DFSS principles and related tools (e.g., DFMEA, scorecards) and create drawings with GD&T controls.
