Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, test, and trouble shoot battery packs and battery-operated power tools, including determining root cause analysis for failures.
  • •Work with engineers to design and test power tool battery solutions and fabricate prototype battery packs and battery management system electronics assemblies.
  • •Create and execute test procedures using non-standard test requirement inputs, including designing and building test fixtures and using data acquisition.
  • •Conduct electrical and thermal testing of electronic assemblies and provide basic analysis of test data by graphing and documenting results.
  • •Support destructive/abusive lithium-ion battery testing and perform battery rework and assembly tasks such as spot welding, while following safe handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
