Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare computer flight plans and Flight Crew Briefing materials under the supervision of the Duty Shift Supervisor
  • •Analyze meteorological and NOTAM data to select optimal routes and enroute/destination alternates
  • •Calculate takeoff weight, V speeds, takeoff flex thrust, landing weight, and apply MEL/CDL penalties as required
  • •Monitor weather and air traffic services environment and communicate plans/changes/delays/cancellations to relevant units
  • •Maintain required dispatch records, assist with flight dispatch manuals, and support on-the-job training for new staff

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a technical or aviation discipline
  • •Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • •Preferred completion of an approved course of instruction in aircraft dispatching
  • •Preferred to hold an FAA (or equivalent standard) Flight Dispatcher license
  • •Ability to prepare flight plans and briefing materials in accordance with applicable regulations and company policy
