Job Summary

Design, evolve, and manage enterprise data architecture for TradingView’s real-time financial data streams. Partner with backend, solution, and infrastructure architects to set standards through Architecture Review Boards and Architecture Decision Records. Drive data governance and quality by defining SLAs/SLOs, ownership, lineage, and lifecycle policies. Make storage and AI-ready lakehouse decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor data engineers and analysts.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and evolve corporate data architecture, including real-time streaming pipelines and Data Lakes.
•Facilitate Architecture Review Boards and develop Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) for tiering, retention/lifecycle policies, data quality metrics, and master data management.
•Build data lineage and centralized data ownership processes using metadata tools.
•Define, negotiate, and monitor SLA/SLO for data quality and manage the overall Data Quality Program.
•Develop long-term data strategies and prepare infrastructure for AI/ML adoption (AI-ready lakehouse, semantic layer, feature stores, and ML pipelines), collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers/analysts.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience designing data architecture in large-scale, geo-distributed organizations with extensive data volumes.
•Expert-level SQL and deep knowledge of data warehouses and data lakes/lakehouses.
•Strong real-time data delivery experience, including Change Data Capture (Debezium, native CDC, AWS DMS) and streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
•Hands-on experience with data processing tools such as Spark, Flink, and dbt.
•Practical experience with data governance and data quality monitoring (e.g., Great Expectations), plus infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
