Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute plant-wide Advanced Process Control/Plant wide Optimizer projects from assessment through postaudit.
  • •Lead/execute implementation of RMPCT Advanced Process Control/Plant wide Optimizer/Control Performance Monitor technologies.
  • •Perform APC studies, proof of concepts/trial evaluations, and provide user training.
  • •Review economic targets for advanced process controllers and update controller variables/constraints and configurations.
  • •Identify faulty regulatory control loops and tune regulatory controllers at the DCS level; collaborate cross-functionally and support sales/marketing for APC services/licensing; train junior personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 8+ years of experience in refining/petrochemical or MMM industry.
  • •Background in Chemical Engineering principles and operations.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory control and advanced control, with experience in optimization principles and implementing global optimization programs as an advantage.
  • •Knowledge of Advanced Process Control/Plant wide Optimizer, DCS, and real-time database technologies.
  • •Good communication and writing skills, and ability to maintain strong customer working relationships.
