Job Summary

Provide technical leadership for packaging equipment and manufacturing automation initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into optimized solutions. Own governance and delivery of front-end loading packages, including technology assessments, layouts, infrastructure needs, acceptance criteria, and performance requirements. Conduct feasibility analyses, troubleshoot and drive continuous improvement for existing packaging operations, and lead machine design improvements and equipment modifications, with support to plant sites as needed.

•Perform feasibility analyses and develop rough order of magnitude estimates to guide business cases.
•Troubleshoot and drive continuous improvement in packaging operations; lead machine design improvements and equipment modifications, including plant site surveys as needed.

•10+ years of experience in food manufacturing with packaging system design.

•Subject matter expertise in food production line packaging equipment.
•Experience with machine design and in a USDA or FDA-regulated manufacturing environment; demonstrated success implementing automation and robotics solutions.
