Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct supplier analysis and create strategic sourcing plans to identify suppliers, optimize costs, and ensure continuity of supply.
  • •Build and own project budgets and capitalization plans, and negotiate with contract manufacturers to optimize capex investment and utilization.
  • •Manage the supply base with forecasting and clear-to-build models, including tier 2–3 supply from the contract manufacturer.
  • •Oversee contract manufacturer day-to-day operations (capacity bring-up, equipment readiness, and material readiness) to keep product development on schedule.
  • •Administer and independently negotiate contracts; execute purchasing transactions and drive improvements in service levels, delivery, pricing, lead times, payments, and risk compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in supply chain, production, or engineering OR 9+ years’ experience in the same areas in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience working in a supply chain, production, or engineering function, including 1+ years procurement experience in a high-volume contract manufacturing environment.
  • •Strong understanding of consumer electronic manufacturing supply chain, capex planning, and commercial negotiations.
  • •Experience managing product development, NPI, and mass production processes, including working with contract manufacturers.
  • •Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functions.
