Key Responsibilities

  • •Locate and move tanks, parts, and covers to the assembly area
  • •Assemble bushings and current transformers to cover or tank as specified
  • •Mount core and coil in tank and make required electrical connections (including tap changer, switches, and fault interrupters)
  • •Assemble and install accessories (e.g., oil level gauges, thermometer, gauges, relief devices) and check lead clearances with needed spacers or insulating barriers
  • •Perform resistance testing on small pad-mounted transformers and assemble VFI/load break switch components

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • •Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future
  • •Live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility and no relocation is being offered
  • •Minimum one (1) year of electrical experience
  • •Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and work overtime when required
