Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce accurate, comprehensive estimates for defence projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • •Control and manage the estimating process at project level.
  • •Produce estimates without management or supervision and work with limited supervision when required.
  • •Provide estimating assurance and support commercial data and benchmarking.
  • •Support estimating best practice development and promotion, including representing Turner & Townsend with client organisations.

Key Requirements

  • •A qualification in Estimating, Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering.
  • •Proven experience working in the Defence sector.
  • •Experience compiling, assuring, and delivering complex estimates and cost models.
  • •Ability to work within an integrated Project Controls team.
  • •Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, Work, PowerPoint) and excellent communication in a client-facing environment.
