Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure accurate accounting for EE entities under US GAAP, IFRS, and local standards, including statutory and management reporting.
  • •Lead external audits for relevant entities, ensuring accurate financial statements and unqualified audit opinions, including PwC and other auditor engagement management.
  • •Drive process improvements to strengthen internal controls and compliance, and review/implement policies for a secure control environment.
  • •Ensure timely month-end and quarter-end close for revenue, contra-revenue, and expense activities and collaborate with Corporate Controllership on consolidated reporting.
  • •Review intercompany reconciliations across EE entities and support funding/banking administration where needed, while partnering with legal, treasury, settlement, tax, shared services, regulators, and supporting regional tax compliance and expansion projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Accountant or CPA-equivalent qualification.
  • •Relevant qualification in business, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • •In-depth understanding of US GAAP and IFRS plus external audit experience.
  • •Strong understanding of the EE cultural, regulatory, statutory, and taxation environment.
  • •Hands-on, self-driven ability to adapt to changing processes and systems, including accounting systems changes.
