Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver NOC operational excellence across incident, change, request fulfillment, and event management with 24x7x365 follow-the-sun coverage.
  • •Participate in and sometimes lead crisis team conference calls, driving solutions across multiple IT operations teams.
  • •Implement repeatable moves/adds/changes for LAN, WAN, security, wireless, remote access, load balancing, and cloud connectivity.
  • •Use production monitoring tools to ensure systems are running and available, and ensure effective communication to internal customers and external partners.
  • •Create knowledge-based documentation and deliver training to NOC staff and internal customers, initiating and delivering continuous improvements while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an IT/engineering field, or at least 5+ years of relevant experience, with preferred network certifications (CCNA, CCNP).
  • •Strong knowledge of routers, switches, wireless, and core services including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and network monitoring tools.
  • •Experience with network infrastructure suppliers and offerings including Cisco, Viptela, F5 Networks, Juniper, Riverbed, Zscaler, and Avaya.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Service Management and/or IT Operations, with standards and compliance including ITIL, PCI, and SOC.
  • •Able to work a shift with weekend and some holiday coverage for 24x7x365 support, with strong communication/customer service skills.
