Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative maintenance and major/minor repairs on valves, engines, motors, mixers, piping, and related station/pipeline/terminal equipment.
  • •Service and lubricate mechanical equipment including tank mixers, pumps, motors, and valves.
  • •Conduct lockouts on company facilities and follow Plains’ safety policies and procedures.
  • •Execute preventative maintenance tasks for positive displacement and centrifugal pumps using vendor manual guidelines, including monitoring and alignment record updates.
  • •Maintain equipment inspections and maintenance records in the company CMMS (Maximo).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Entering or having completed the 1st year of a related trades apprenticeship program.
  • •Ability to speak, read, and write English and perform basic math.
  • •Read and interpret facility drawings, technical schematics, and operational/service manuals.
  • •Working knowledge of precision measurement instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, alignment devices) and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel) and Maximo (CMMS).
