Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform close-tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation of critical support structures and fracture-critical areas.
  • •Locate blind holes, and complete structural repair activities including sealing, painting, shimming, and preservation per standard repair processes.
  • •Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to execute structural modifications and repairs.
  • •Use tooling assemblies and fixtures to conduct depot-level modification and repair of structural parts, including troubleshooting and component replacement as needed.
  • •Determine basic electrical system functionality and access aircraft data via computer systems to initiate online parts and discrepancy requests.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience working with non-porous metals such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless.
