Key Responsibilities

•Develop welding procedures that comply with applicable design, engineering, and construction codes, standards, and project specifications.
•Maintain the project welder qualification program and oversee on-site tests.
•Review customer drawings/specifications to determine necessary WPS/PQR requirements to ensure weld integrity.
•Select electrodes/consumables and estimate quantities; source materials for WPS/PQRs.
•Determine joint design and optimize the welding process to meet project needs.

Key Requirements

•4-year BS Degree in Welding Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
•3+ years in Welding/Metallurgy aspects for Fabrication and Construction Industry
•Welding technology preferred
•Understanding of NDT techniques preferred
•Inspection Qualification preferred
