Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop welding procedures that comply with applicable design, engineering, and construction codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • •Maintain the project welder qualification program and oversee on-site tests.
  • •Review customer drawings/specifications to determine necessary WPS/PQR requirements to ensure weld integrity.
  • •Select electrodes/consumables and estimate quantities; source materials for WPS/PQRs.
  • •Determine joint design and optimize the welding process to meet project needs.

Key Requirements

  • •4-year BS Degree in Welding Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
  • •3+ years in Welding/Metallurgy aspects for Fabrication and Construction Industry
  • •Welding technology preferred
  • •Understanding of NDT techniques preferred
  • •Inspection Qualification preferred
