Key Responsibilities

  • •Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies.
  • •Monitor a portfolio of commercial loans and proactively identify emerging risks.
  • •Manage portfolio administration including delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base and covenant compliance, and product renewals.
  • •Attend client calls (virtual or in-person) with Relationship Management and other Bank partners; serve as secondary bank contact for covered clients.
  • •Maintain market/industry knowledge through research, and review and negotiate credit documentation in consultation with legal counsel.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •8+ years of experience in an underwriting or commercial banking environment.
  • •Formal credit training.
  • •Experience in the syndicated loan market.
  • •Proficiency in S&P Capital IQ and Microsoft Excel.
