Job Summary

Lead the execution and alignment of the Ports & Terminals Lean Business System (LBS) across the business unit, embedding lean principles into leadership frameworks and operational strategies. Drive process standardization, daily management, Lean Academy, and Kaizen problem-solving initiatives, using data-driven insights to track performance. Coach and influence leadership behavioral change, coordinate local resources, and build the capability of the BU team to deliver sustained operational excellence and financial results.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive cultural change by embedding lean principles into leadership frameworks to foster continuous improvement.
•Coordinate and implement LBS elements including process standardization, daily management, Lean Academy, and Kaizen problem-solving initiatives.
•Take ownership of local LBS implementation using defined tools and methodologies, coordinating local resources with BU management.
•Collaborate with regional and global leadership teams to align LBS strategies with business objectives and influence C-level leaders on long-term integration.
•Develop and execute a multi-year strategic roadmap, leveraging data-driven insights to track performance and deliver operational excellence and financial results.

Key Requirements

•5+ years’ experience in container terminal operations or engineering, with a strong interest in best business practices and process improvement.
•3-5 years of experience in lean training or a Continuous Improvement deployment role.
•Demonstrated openness to change and experience with change management.
•Lean, Six Sigma and/or Project Management certification.
•Good presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to challenge, mentor, and coach senior leaders.
