Job Summary

Lead financial reporting for a portfolio of registered mutual funds and non-registered funds by reviewing fund financial statements, investment schedules, and SEC filing materials. Coordinate annual audit processes, support staff with GAAP/ASC 815/820 and derivatives questions, and ensure accurate and timely N-CSR, N-MFP, and N-PORT Part F submissions. Work in a hybrid model and provide technical guidance to support audit readiness and on-boarding of new clients.

Key Responsibilities

•Review staff-prepared fund financial statements, investment schedules, and notes for annual and semiannual shareholder reports.
•Review schedules of investments for registered fund N-PORT Part F filings to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
•Coordinate audits by managing staff assignment of auditor open items and responses to client questions and comments.
•Serve as a technical resource for staff on new investment/derivative products, financial statement preparation questions, and auditor questions.
•Assist with onboarding new clients and perform ad hoc duties or projects as assigned.

Key Requirements

•4–6 years of recent experience in Fund Administration/Financial Reporting or a related field.
•2 years of supervisory or management experience.
•Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC filings, including derivatives.
•Working knowledge of 1940 Act rules and forms N-CSR, N-MFP, N-PORT Part F and N-CEN.
•Advanced Microsoft product knowledge; degree in accounting/finance or CPA preferred.
