Job Summary

Lead the launch and expansion of the dimensional metrology capability at Arsenal-1, setting the processes, calibration and gage management programs, and inspection standards that support audit-ready quality. Serve as the hands-on technical authority for measurement accuracy, GD&T standards, and inspection program validation. Partner with design, manufacturing, and quality to integrate metrology early, drive a multi-year metrology roadmap, and build a growing Metrology team.

Key Responsibilities

•Stand up the dimensional metrology lab at Arsenal-1, including equipment selection, layout, environmental controls, fixturing, and calibration and gage management programs.
•Act as the hands-on technical authority on dimensional measurement by writing and validating inspection programs, performing FAI and MSA (MSA / Gage R&R), and owning GD&T standards.
•Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate metrology early in development for better risk management and process verification.
•Own the multi-year metrology roadmap and define practices for the broader manufacturing network to follow.
•Build and lead the Arsenal-1 Metrology team, including headcount planning, interviewing and onboarding, and training/certification leveling paths.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 143,000 - 191,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Engineering degree and 10+ years of metrology, manufacturing, or quality engineering experience.
•Deep, hands-on precision-measurement expertise including CMM programming, FAI, and measurement system analysis (MSA / Gage R&R).
•Experience standing up or significantly expanding a dimensional metrology or inspection lab, including equipment selection, capital planning, and calibration program setup.
•Experience building, leading, or mentoring metrology or manufacturing teams, including hiring, training, and developing technicians.
•Strong knowledge of aerospace measurement techniques and quality management, including GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
