Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect mill equipment, including chains, belt conveyors, gear boxes/drive chains, and cranes for maintenance or repair.
  • •Use tools and equipment (e.g., forklifts/aerial lifts, welding/cutting equipment, measuring devices, laser pump alignment tools) to support maintenance work.
  • •Maintain accurate work order records, including labor hours and preventative maintenance findings, to support future job plans.
  • •Perform work in high places and confined spaces while adhering to safety policies and procedures.
  • •Remove, install, align, level, and couple rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED.
  • •8 years of machine repair, hydraulic repair, iron worker and/or industrial maintenance/millwright experience, or a licensed Journeyman Millwright through a state indentured apprenticeship.
  • •Solid mechanical aptitude of complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • •Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
