Key Responsibilities

  • •Own site availability, deployment milestones, and repair turnaround verified with independent data.
  • •Set daily/weekly priorities and lead operating cadence (including standups and business reviews) with vendor site leads.
  • •Author and improve procedures for deployment, break-fix, change management, security, and EHS compliance; analyze trends and standardize lessons.
  • •Track vendor performance against SLAs and staffing commitments, driving corrective actions as needed.
  • •Participate in incident escalation on-call rotation and serve as Incident Commander for site-specific incidents, directing vendor response and completing post-incident actions.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in data center operations (hardware, IT infrastructure, or critical facilities), with accountability for production availability.
  • •Experience managing vendors/MSPs/contract workforces to measurable outcomes (SOWs, SLAs, operational reviews, corrective actions).
  • •Hands-on technical depth in server, network, and rack-level infrastructure to independently verify vendor claims and audit quality.
  • •Built or substantially improved operational processes and procedures (not just ran them).
  • •Experience serving in an incident command/lead-responder role with clear communication under ambiguity.
