Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the training cell to ensure Part 145 personnel are competent, current, and compliant to carry out maintenance and weapons load activities.
  • •Establish and maintain training schedules and delivery programmes for flight line and weapons load training, including induction and continuation training.
  • •Ensure training materials conform to configuration and standards, and maintain accurate training records for competency and currency.
  • •Deliver and record assessments, including Performance indicators and Procedure/standards compliance aligned to the regulatory framework and company procedures.
  • •Support safety and quality requirements including Safety Management System understanding, Continuing Airworthiness Assurance (CAA/quality) activities, and coordinate external agency training.

Key Requirements

  • •Requires general Typhoon aircraft knowledge/competency within the role’s technical/subject area, with awareness of how the team integrates for continuous improvement.
  • •Completion of the Typhoon Trade ‘Q’ Course.
  • •Engineering- HNC or equivalent experience.
  • •Foundation leadership capability.
  • •Human Factors knowledge and awareness of E&PW, ITAR, and Fire Training UK requirements, including a driving license.
