Job Summary

Join the Turbomachinery team to perform on-site installation and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration for mechanical gas, steam turbine, and compressor equipment. Lead checks and adjustments, installation and alignment, and independent inspection. Own work execution in assigned areas, drive safety and delivery performance, provide field engineering service support, and address emergent customer needs. Contribute to lessons learned and root-cause analysis to prevent failures and forced outages.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment and conduct ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation.
•Lead foundation and soft foot checks and adjustments; lead assembly/installation and alignment of equipment.
•Independently inspect equipment and execute work with business ownership in assigned areas.
•Drive Safety, on-time delivery, productivity, quality, and cost while balancing customer service satisfaction with Baker Hughes objectives.
•Support emergent and emergency customer needs, including field engineering service work; contribute to lessons learned and root cause analysis for customer and Baker Hughes failures and incidents.

Key Requirements

•Have an engineering degree or technical degree.
•Hold an active CREA or CFT.
•Have 5+ years of experience in Turbomachinery (TMS) equipment (gas, steam, or heavy duty turbines) or equivalent experience in compressors (must).
•Have 2+ years of experience in Baker Hughes equipment, attested by the company that performed scope covering site operation, commissioning, and start-up (must).
•Demonstrate technical leadership and strong problem-solving, communication, project management, and computer skills in Microsoft Office; experience with Project Management software (Primavera or Microsoft Project) is required.
