Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, design, validate, and manage implementation of new best-in-class Automatic transfer switches.
  • •Translate internal and external customer requirements into measurable performance criteria.
  • •Develop technical communications including datasheets, interface control documents, and test plans.
  • •Design, model, and test product prototypes, and maintain/improve existing products via design and competitive analysis.
  • •Ensure compliance with national/local electrical codes and standards (including UL, NEC, NEMA, OSPHD) and participate in codes/standards organizations as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •Two (2) years of experience in mechanical design.
  • •Proficiency in engineering design software/tools.
  • •Work authorization without Eaton employment immigration sponsorship/support (no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN, I-485 portability).
  • •Two (2) years of previous design experience with products certified to UL1008 or UL891.
