Job Summary

Lead design analysis and methodologies for CPU memory blocks and data path subsystems for Intel’s latest processors in advanced process technology. Drive memory-block methodology enablement to achieve 5GHz+ frequency and low-power, while ensuring optimal area. Apply expertise in SRAM/RF/ROM concepts, static timing analysis, synthesis and P&R tool flows, and memory post-silicon analysis. Partner closely with layout and floorplanning teams and evaluate statistical variation and spice-based simulation results.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead design analysis and methodologies for memory blocks and data path subsystems for Intel’s latest CPUs.
•Enable memory-block design methodologies to meet 5GHz+ frequency, low-power requirements, and optimal area.
•Develop expertise and apply knowledge of static timing analysis and memory design concepts (SRAM/RF/ROM).
•Collaborate closely with layout and floor planning teams.
•Perform memory post-silicon analysis and evaluate statistical variation to support new backend feature implementation.

Key Requirements

•Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with at least 8 years of related experience, or a Bachelors Degree with at least 10 years of experience.
•Technical expertise in synthesis and P and R tools.
•In-depth understanding of memory design concepts including SRAM, RF, and ROM.
•Expertise in static timing analysis concepts.
•Preferred: digital design experience focused on high speed and low power, and familiarity with Verilog and scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python).
