Key Responsibilities

  • •Control, manage, and summarize contractor road closure requests; submit each request via the online road closure system.
  • •Ensure an emergency route is available before each day’s road closures, coordinate approvals, and print permits for subcontractors.
  • •Summarize and coordinate contractor transport route requests, including temporary gate access with client Security/Project/Wood Security.
  • •Consolidate subcontractor requests, submit for client approval, follow up for timely approvals/compliance, and monitor adherence to equipment parking protocols.
  • •Plan temporary road closures per local authority regulations, develop TMPs, liaise with government agencies, notify public/stakeholders, and monitor sites for compliance with safety measures.

Key Requirements

  • •Higher Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in construction coordination or traffic management.
  • •Knowledge of traffic laws and local government permitting processes.
  • •Experience developing and implementing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for construction or infrastructure projects.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD or traffic simulation software is a plus.
