Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate and develop bold product concepts, features, and technology ideas for Dyson categories.
  • •Use consumer insight, market signals, and technology opportunities to identify problems worth solving.
  • •Collaborate with experienced engineers, designers, and technical specialists to create novel solutions to difficult problems.
  • •Build functional, physical, and digital prototypes and test, iterate, and learn quickly through experimentation.
  • •Rotate across four NPI teams over a 24-month programme and present concepts, evidence, and learnings to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Have, or be on track to achieve, a degree in Engineering, Product Design, Innovation, Design Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
  • •Be naturally curious about technology, consumers, behaviour, and what products could become next.
  • •Enjoy generating ideas, challenging assumptions, and exploring multiple routes through complex problems.
  • •Combine creativity with strong analytical thinking, engineering judgement, and a bias for making ideas real.
  • •Be comfortable prototyping, experimenting, failing fast, and learning through iteration.
