Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day and strategic leadership for mine engineering, including long-range and life-of-mine planning, geology, hydrogeology, tailings, and geotechnical functions.
  • •Manage and execute mine development projects to improve safety, optimize assets, support annual production plans, and enable future expansion.
  • •Plan and supervise professional engineers and technicians to run mine planning scenarios, analysis, and technical feasibility reviews.
  • •Oversee mine engineering work with mine operations, including mine design, economic evaluation, cost estimating, productivity forecasting, equipment selection, and production scheduling.
  • •Develop and implement best practices across property evaluation, mine engineering design and scheduling, and alternate mining technology while optimizing deployment of the technical workforce.
