Job Summary

Join the Trust and Safety engineering team to help protect TikTok users from harmful content and abusive behaviors. You’ll research, design, and build backend systems for content moderation, rule/strategy/feature engines, risk insights, and human moderation tooling for international live streaming. Key Responsibilities

•Develop trust and safety systems and product functionalities for international live streaming, including safety process, user perception, and review efficiency improvements.
•Build components such as rule engine, strategy systems, feature engine, and human moderation platforms across the Trust and Safety organization.
•Enhance safety experience for international live streaming users by creating high-concurrency, high-stability systems.
•Conduct research, analysis, and exploration of business requirements and product needs to address live streaming safety issues.
•Contribute to construction of supportive platforms and systems across Trust and Safety teams.

Key Requirements

•Completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or above degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•Proficiency designing data structures and building algorithms.
•Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go, PHP, C++, or Java.
•Excellent problem analysis and ability to identify underlying causes, with strong summarization and conclusion skills.
•Strong communication, teamwork, service awareness, proactivity, optimism, and sense of responsibility/self-motivation.
