Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage all aspects of poultry debone and slaughter processing to ensure procedures are followed and targets are met for productivity, cost efficiency, and customer specifications.
  • •Direct a team through subordinate supervisors, overseeing employee performance, development, safety, and work schedules.
  • •Oversee and assist production supervisors with supervising and training employees to drive maximum quality and productivity.
  • •Ensure compliance with food safety programs and USDA requirements in partnership with Quality Assurance.
  • •Establish and adjust procedures to meet production schedules, improve efficiencies and yields, reduce downtime/accidents/turnover, and optimize profitability through continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar manufacturing environment, or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • •Minimum 2 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience managing 20+ persons.
  • •4+ years working knowledge of poultry processing and food safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, GMPs and HACCP.
  • •Proficient English skills (oral and written) and demonstrated leadership, team-building, and conflict management abilities.
  • •Proficient knowledge of production processes, general line maintenance and staffing, with ability to handle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
