SUE Field Supervisor leads field crews in subsurface utility engineering, reading utility drawings, operating geophysical tools (including GPR), and performing site surveys. Key Responsibilities

•Read and interpret utility drawings, as-builts, GIS files and other forms of utility records data.
•Initiate, track, and process utility records requests with various utility centers and owners/operators.
•Utilize geophysical equipment (including GPR) to identify, locate and designate utilities in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22.
•Utilize GPS and Total Station survey equipment with Trimble data collection tools to survey utility features and line segments.
•Perform field QA/QC of SUE data and mentor junior field staff

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 75,000 - 95,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS Degree + 4 years of related experience OR AS Degree + 6 years of related experience OR High School + 8 years of related experience
•SUE and/or private utility locating experience equivalent with a demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail
•Experience and understanding of SUE practices and procedures in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22
•Position requires frequent traveling to field locations. Locations and distances vary and will include overnight travel
•Frequent lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds unassisted
