Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare annual budgets, voyage/route profitability forecasts, and rolling cash-flow projections for fleet and shore operations.
  • •Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, consolidation, and accurate accounting for voyage and charter-related revenue, costs, and provisions.
  • •Manage treasury, daily cash flow, banking relationships, letters of credit, trade finance facilities, FX exposure, and working capital processes.
  • •Track and control voyage/vessel costs (bunker, port/canal dues, agency fees, crewing, etc.) and validate charter-party terms and freight settlements.
  • •Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team; act as key financial advisor to executives and board, and drive financial/ERP process improvements and internal controls.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • •Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA (required or strongly preferred).
  • •7–10 years of progressive experience in financial management/accounting/controllership, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
  • •Experience in shipping/maritime/logistics/frieght forwarding/port operations, including voyage accounting and charter-party financials.
  • •Proficiency in IFRS/GAAP, treasury management, and financial modeling; strong Excel and ERP systems experience.
