Key Responsibilities

•Meet, greet, and seat guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and act as an information source for guests entering the House of Blues.
•Control the flow of guests in the restaurant and during waits, collecting party details and directing guests to appropriate locations.
•Use the HOB reservation system to estimate and quote accurate wait times and show guests to tables while supporting a high-volume service pace.
•Anticipate and respond to guest needs, answer questions about the menu, music hall, events, and artists, and thank guests while inviting them to return.
•Maintain host area cleanliness and organization, uphold safety and sanitation standards, communicate key wait and party details to relevant teams, and occasionally support special events.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma.
•Working knowledge of restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations, and problem solving.
•Skill in diplomacy, handling multiple tasks, verbal skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact and diplomacy.
•Ability to adhere to the HOB uniform and appearance policy and work flexible schedules (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
