Job Summary

Channel Systems Engineer to support a defined sales territory by leading all technical aspects of enterprise deals, from RFIs to RFPs and POCs. You will translate customer needs into Fortinet-based solutions, act as the primary technical contact, and collaborate with sales partners. Deep networking and security expertise, hands-on installation/troubleshooting, and strong communication are essential to win complex deployments.

Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

•Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle with Enterprise customers, including project management and active participation in POCs with internal and customer teams
•Listen to and understand customer technical requirements, reading between the lines to design a solution that outperforms competitors
•Be the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, collaborating closely with the sales partner
•Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products and the competitive landscape to provide long-lasting protection against evolving threats
•Position Fortinet solutions to customers remotely or in person, using strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical plans and papers

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering or a similar technical role
•Expert level knowledge in Networking (wired and wireless, SD-WAN, WAN) and Network security
•Expert knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Cybersecurity
•Strong understanding of protocols and technologies including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
•Hands-on experience with product installations, configurations, and troubleshooting
